DMS Standard Operating Procedure: Typeset Functionality

Purpose:

To establish guidelines for the use of the DMS by the Typeset team.

Definitions:

• DMS: Data Management System
• UOM: Unit of Measurement

Procedures:

Navigate to the Assigned Tasks tab on the Dashboard or Main Dashboard.

Click the "My Department Tasks" toggle to view which Tasks are assigned to your department. Click the "Tasks Assigned To Me" toggle to view Tasks assigned to you.

Choose "Start" under the Status. As soon as you select “Start,” start your task so productivity can be tracked.

From the Edit Job page, choose a due date by selecting a date and time under "ETA."

Add a Cycle.

Select a Task Type and Complexity Level.

The UOM for a Typeset task is Number of Pages. Track the Changes Count.

Click "Save" on the Cycle level and Job level to save progress.
